Advanced Placement Program (APP)

The Advanced Placement Program consists of courses of study and special examinations open to junior and senior high school students. High schools administer the AP exam during the month of May. EKU receives scores during the first week of July.

The chart below indicates the manner in which EKU awards course credit for AP scores.

Advanced Placement Credit Chart

AP exams are scored and reported to EKU by The College Board educational testing service.  A high school student must designate that he or she wants EKU to receive scores.

Information about the Advanced Placement Program may be found at www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/about.html.
