Adult Learners Seeking Admission to EKU

EKU Placement Testing gives Adult Learners the opportunity to test their basic skills in English composition, reading, and math. 


                                               Placement Testing for Admissions:

The following persons are eligible to take Placement Testing for Admissions instead of submitting ACT or SAT scores:

-- Adult learners age 21 or older. 

-- Persons of any age who have earned a GED.

Calculators are permitted for the math placement testing.  A list of acceptable calculators may be found at http://www.actstudent.org/faq/calculator.html.


                                                Practicing for Placement Testing:

Kentucky Adult Education Programs: Adult Learners who have not completed a GED program but wish to refresh their skills in math and language arts prior to taking placement tests should contact the Adult Education program in their county. The Madison County Adult Education Program may be contacted @ 859-622-8065 or http://adulteducation.eku.edu/get-college-ready .
