The EKU Office of Academic Testing helps maintain the academic mission of Eastern Kentucky University by providing various testing options to prospective and current EKU students, and members of our local community. Our Office follows test administration practices which abide by nationally recognized professional testing standards and government regulations. We uphold the integrity of the testing process by incorporating ethical standards and security measures followed by all staff members. We treat all examinees in a respectful, helpful, and courteous manner to ensure a suitable/comfortable test-taking environment.
The EKU Office of Academic Testing will be an office where prospective and current EKU students, as well as local community members, can come to begin, sharpen, and further their post-secondary educational careers through optional and mandatory assessments.
- coordinates, administers, and plans academic tests that are requested by the University and education community;
- provides services related to national tests, state assessments, and locally developed exams; and
- offers Eastern Kentucky University students and other registered examinees a friendly and comfortable environment for testing.
